BBC Songs of Praise viewers have yet again voted for ‘Be Still’ to be among their top ten favourite hymns - it came in at number nine this time around. I’m really amazed and humbled that after all these years the song continues to mean so much to so many people! Here is the link to the show on BBC iPlayer: Songs of Praise - The UK’s Favourite Hymn.

It was an absolute joy to meet and be interviewed with Lesley Garrett, who afterwards led the congregation in very fine voice. My Mum and Dad loved Lesley Garrett and would have been so proud to see me sharing a stage with her!
